Lionel Charles Bowers Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 15, 2023, at the age of 80, Lionel Charles Bowers of Gardena, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lionel Thomas (Bud) and Dorothy Adeline Bowers; his wife Barbara; his daughter Roni Denise; his stepdaughter Shelly Lynn; his grandchildren, Hannah, Jared, Ryan and Ashli; his sister Sandy Cynar; and his nephew Mark.
He and Barbara were regular gym rats until Covid closed the gyms.
Because of his impeccable health UCLA allowed him to donate which prompted UCLA to change the age cutoff. They were the oldest to donate and receive a kidney.
