She was predeceased by: her husband Masatsugu Tawa. She is survived by: her sons, Ron (Suzi), Gary (Valerie) and Brian Tawa; her grandchildren, Melissa, Brianna, Timothy, Nicholas (Michelle), Jonathan and Joshua Tawa; her great grandchildren, Mika and Cianna Tawa; her sister Keiko Ono; and her sister-in-law Helen Shimane. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
