She was predeceased by: her husband Steve Hironori Sanwo; and her daughter Joyce Michiko Sahara. She is survived by: her children, Norman Eiji Sanwo (Kathi) and Charlene Naomi Hirotsu (Stanford Takashi); her son-in-law Robert Fumio Sahara; her grandchildren, Jennifer Yuki Sahara (Tim Dalbec), Courtney Morales (Jose IV), Kurtis Sanwo, Stephanie Michi Hirotsu and Russell Takashi Hirotsu (Joanne); her great grandchildren, Kelsey Fumiko Dalbec, Jack Takayuki Hirotsu and Emma Naoko Hirotsu; her brother Sam Isamu Wakai (Chieko); and her sister-in-law Nora Wakai. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Due to Covid-19 a service will be held on a later date.
