It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Sumiko Uyehara (Gardena, California), leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Yoshio Uyehara; and her granddaughter Kaitlyn Uyehara. She is survived by: her children, Tsukasa, Atsushi Uyehara (Patricia), Katsuko Takahashi (Kazuo) of Nagano, Etsuko Hamamoto (Vincent) and Ritsuko Uyehara (Greg Grassmann); and her grandchildren, Shinichi, Suzuka Takahashi, Jack, Josh Hamamoto and Derek Uyehara. She is also survived by sisters, brothers, and other relatives.
