She was predeceased by: her husband Yoshio Higashi. She is survived by: her children, Wynne Yonamine (Bruce), Michael Higashi (Abbie) and Mitchell Higashi (Ryoko); her grandchildren, Dayna Rosso (Matthew), Erik Yonamine, Adam Yonamine, Josh, Jayson, Collin and Grant Higashi; and her siblings, Albert Kaya (Roberta), Ruth Fukushige and George Kaya (Pearl). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
