She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Kakurai and Janet Kakurai (Sasahara); her brother-in-law Joe DeMatteo; and her father-in-law David Bobovnyik. She is survived by: her husband Danny Bobovnyik of Youngstown, Ohio.; her uncle Dan Sasahara; her cousin Sean Sasahara (Youngstown); her family, Vicki Mincey (Daryl), Denise Bobovnyik (Chris Knight), David Bobovnyik (Lisa), Debbie DeMatteo (Rich Bionci), Doug Bobovnyik (Lonnie) and Diana Perez (Victor); and her mother-in-law Joan "Peep" Bobovnyik. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
