She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Cohen and Elsie Cohen (Spector); and her sister Anita Millman (Cohen). She is survived by: her children, Jack Belkin of Dartmouth, MA, Joyce Lieb (Carl) of El Paso, TX and Samuel Belkin (Ann Hellerstein) of Rockville, MD; and her grandchildren, Joseph Lieb (Kim Greenway), Eric Lieb (Lena), Daniel Belkin (Tanvi Butola), Mitchell Belkin, David Lieb, Tessa Belkin and Melanie Belkin. She is also survived by four great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bernadine's memory to B'nai Zion Torah Fund or the El Paso Zoo.
