With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Akiyo Kawamoto of Gardena, California, who passed away on June 9, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her sons, Derrick Kawamoto (Mona) and Dean Kawamoto (Susan); and her grandsons, Michael, Steven and Tyler Kawamoto. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
