He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jean M. O'Connell; his children, William R. O'Connell III, Bryan M. O'Connell (Joanna) and Shannon O. Hawkins (Jonathan); his grandchildren, Liam, Riley, Clare, Erin, Will, Kennedy, Finley, Aidan, Cormac, Rowan and Connell; his parents, Marie O'Connell (Durig) and William R. O'Connell Sr.; his brother Michael; and also, Jack (Robyn), Kevin, Paul (Kay), Maureen and Jerry. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
