She was predeceased by: her stepdaughter Cherrill Palisamno. She is survived by: her husband Keith Carter; her children, Joseph Ramond and Jennifer Fuller; her stepchildren, Scott Carter, Becky Taylor and Deborah Carter; and her brother Phil Vlasak.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the "Alzheimer's Association of Orange County" in honor of Vickie.
