He was predeceased by: his brothers, Frank Mendonca and John Mendonca; and his parents, John Mendonca and Lula Mendonca. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Sue; his children, Suzette Medeiros (Eddie), Sandra Mendonca, Sharold Gibson (Rick) and Richard Mendonca Jr; his stepchildren, Nita Powell (Donald) and Vita Cooper; his siblings, Manual Mendonca (Rosemarie) and Mary Espindola; and his sister-in-law Betty Mendonca. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren, 8 Great-Grandchildren.
