He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Ferreira and Maria De Jesus Ferreira; his sisters, Nivea Ferreira and Selena Ferreira; and his mother-in-law Maria Vitoria.
He is survived by: his daughter Diane; his wife Lina Ferreira; his son Johnny Ferreira (Melanie) of Delhi; his grandchildren, Diane Tarifa (Garry) of Galt, Sergio Tarifa, Sydney Tarifa, Serena Tarifa, Sophie Tarifa, Lucas Ferreira, Anthony Ferreira, Santos Tarifa and Makayla Ferreira; his siblings, Maria De Jesus Fraga (Jose) of Terceira, Antonio Ferreira (Vera) of Brazil, Joe Ferreira (Eva) of Texas, Alcinha Rego (Francisco) of Terceira, Zelia Couto (Antonio) of Terceira and Francisco Ferreira (Manuela) of Terceira; his father-in-law Francisco Vitoria of Galt; and his siblings-in-law, Joe Vitoria (Teresa) of Galt and Bernadette Vitoria of Galt. He is also survived by three godsons, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and two aunts.
