He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fay Stewart Mathewson (Dorothy Mayo Smith) and Richard; his sister Dorothy June; his wife Jane Adams Mathewson; his children, Sharon Gregory (Doug), Todd Mathewson (Ying) and Molly Trautman (Steve); and his grandchildren, Kristin Nielsen and Kyle Nielsen (Anna). He was also cherished by children and grandchildren.
