It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Dale Swanson of Fullerton, California, born in Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on December 14, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Swanson and Bernadine Post Swanson; and his wife Margaret Swanson (Maggie). He is survived by: his son John D. Swanson Jr. (Suzanne); his granddaughter Katherine Swanson (Noah Niermann); his great grandchildren, Tressa, Eve Niermann and Kurtis (Kimberley Swanson); his children, David and Sarah Swanson; his close friend Minerva Lieck of Brownsville, Texas.; and also, Juniper and Kari Swanson.
He lived most recently at Oakmont of Orange but was moved to the Gordon Lane Care Center upon diagnosis of Covid.
