He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Oral and Mary Ellen Smith; and his son Jeffrey Craven Smith. He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Smith (Dan Luebcke) of Sierra Vista, Eric Smith (Johnna) of Huntington Beach and Stuart Smith (Tracey) of Northville, Michigan.; his grandchildren, Rachel Tillman of Laguna Hills, Hope Tillman of Indianapolis, Connor Smith (Sarah) of Livonia, Jacob Smith of Northville and Emma Smith of Northville; his great grandchildren, Alexandria, Rhys, Joshua Wilcoxen and Colton Tillman of Indianapolis, Indiana.; his sister Nola Smith Parker of Indianapolis; his niece LuAnn Gilmore; and his nephews, Kurt Parker and Wayne Parker.
