She is survived by: her parents, Suzanne and Arturo; her son George Ashton Barrie; her husband Joseph; and her close friend Jenny.

But it was there that her career as a funeral director would advance by leaps and bounds before they moved back to California to be closer to family in 2020, in the peak of the covid pandemic.
