He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Severa Diaz (Sara); his children, Stephanie Diaz-Flores (Ernesto A. Flores), Geoffrey Ted Diaz (Stefanie M. Diaz) and Cynthia D. Maldonado; his grandchildren, Ashleigh, Alexis and Nicholas; his parents, Manuel Diaz and Francisca Ramirez; his siblings, Arturo, Pete, Lawrence, George (Emilia Ozuna), Grace Abundis and Jessie Aguilar (Hortencia Vargas); and his pet Missy.
Due to the unprecedented global pandemic, private ceremony is to be determined.
