She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lalo Colunga and Petra Colunga; her children, Tony (Heike Almaguer), Lydia (James Neves Sr.), Angel (Diana Almaguer Jr.), Eddie (Ramona Almaguer), David (Delia Perez) and Stephanie Almaguer of Fresno; her husband Alejandro Perez; and her children, Rafaela Gutierrez and Santos Almaguer. She was also cherished by eighteen grandchildren, thirty-six great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
