He is survived by: his wife Carol; his son Zachary Hendsch; his daughter-in-law Suzelle Hendsch; his grandsons, Matthew and Nathan Hendsch; and his siblings, David (Carolyn Hendsch), Sylvia Armstrong and Charles (Linda Hendsch). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
