He was predeceased by: his parents, Kee Louie and Effie Louie (Eleanor); his daughter Tami; his grandson Miguel S. Soria; his great grandchild Declan Walcott; and his siblings, William Louie, Edna Leong, Mayme Gong, Roberta Way, Marjorie Lee and Myrtle Woo.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Eng; his children, Janelle Soria (Miguel), Steve (Jolene), Joy Soriano (Rod), Kevin, Robyn Sanders (Gregg) and Lisa Hikida (Martin); his grandchildren, Megan Soria, Lian, Karli Louie, Garrett, Jason, Jennifer Soriano, Kainoa (Jessica), Keanu and Kiana Louie; his great grandchildren, Maliyah Louie and Maddex Walcott; and his sisters, Sandra Gin (Yuen) and Elaine Joke (Henry).
