She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Evon Russell and Earleen Posey Epperson; her significant other Richard "Dick" Boyer; and her siblings, Patricia Russell and Charles Russell.

She is survived by: her children, Christopher Boyer of Hanford, Claire Boyer Havener (Mark) of Tigard and Peter Boyer (Michelle) of Clovis; and her grandchildren, Kolby Adams (Kyle) of Calder, John Doolittle, Christopher Doolittle of Beaverton, Nathan Boyer (Teresa) of Camp Pendleton, Emily Boyer, Hannah Boyer of Fresno and Noah Boyer of Clovis. She is also survived by her mother and brother.

“Claire, Christopher, Peter: I’m so sorry you have lost your beloved mother! She was my friend, and I am devastated, even still in a bit of denial, that she has gone. For years, every week we met for lunch and played bridge with Net and Betty, rotating homes. She and I took chartered day bus trips. We raked more than one politician over the coals, gave our accolades to others. We supported each other through personal and health trials. We cried together but best of all, oh how we laughed!”
