He was predeceased by: his father Joe J. Pico; his sister Jo Ann Palacio; and his grandparents, John Pico, Maria Valades and Rafael Valades.
He is survived by: his wife Constance Diaz Palacios-Pico; his mother Lupe V. Pico; his brother Donald V. Pico; his sister-in-law Phyllis Pico of Madera; his stepsons, Vincent Palacios and Victor P. Palacios of Clovis; his stepgrandchildren, Alisa R. Palacios, Luis M. Saavedra, Renae C. Salas, Jason A. Salas of Clovis, Samuel Vincent Palacios and Olivia Marie Palacios of Arroyo Grande; and his great grandchildren, Gabriella M. Saavedra of Clovis and Luis M. Saavedra Jr. of Clovis. He is also survived by three nephews, five nieces and cousins.
