It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roberto Mata Leon (Fresno, California), who passed away on April 9, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Guadalupe Leon and Aurora Leon (Mata); and his brothers, Frankie, Trinidad, Augustine and Ralph Leon.
He is survived by: his sisters, Josefina Leon and Lucy Gonzales; his wife Angelina Del Rio; his grandchildren, Roberto and St Alphonsus; his children, Dolores Rodriguez (Jose), Alicia Freitas (Norbert), Roberto Jr Leon (Sarah), Jose Luis Leon (Sandra), William Leon (Michele) and Theresa Gonzales (Tony); his siblings, Mike Leon, Louie Leon, Rosie Dautrieve, Vicki Alonso and Celia Riviera; and his nephew Roberto. He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
