He is survived by: his wife JoAnn; his children, Jody Counter, Laura Counter, Kevin Counter, Jamie Counter (Suzann), Anna Virnig (Sean) and Leigh Dahl (Daniel); and his sisters, Marilyn Marklinger, Sue Gamboa (Henry), Nancy Counter, Judy Volandri (Kit) and Helen Montpart (Ed). He is also survived by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
