He is survived by: his wife Elisabeth; his children, Robert Atkinson Jr. (Helen), Karen Wood and Michael Atkinson (Valerie); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Paige, Hunter, Tara, Tacie, Kolton and Kyle; his great grandchildren, Mia, Evie and Dolly; and his son Kenneth Atkinson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
