“Richard will always be remembered for playing the old warner's theater organ with much gusto. My husband gene remembers how he went clear to the east coast to unassemble the university organ and bring it to fresno and many, many, many hours he spent reassembling it in the university church. We loved his playing always and he was always a friend. Gene and hazel griffith”

“Richard was my first choir director at university church and organist. I think he and we were the only living charter members. He was excellent at his craft and we also had a lot of fun always. One time the whole choir packed into a very small swim pool for fun. I recall when liz was killed and when nancy went to lebanon and waiting for dick and nancy to get married. You have a beautiful family and many memories and soon we'll all see jesus together! Love, hazel and gene griffith”
