She was predeceased by: her husband Ameen Akel; and her sisters, Henriette Haddad and Minerva Kassem. She is survived by: her son George (Dina); her granddaughters, Nadia and Anita; her child Elia (Mireille); her grandchild Ameen (Christine); her great grandchild Sophia; her grandsons, Victor and Michel (Mona); her great grandchildren, Madonna and Giorgio; her grandson Tony; and her siblings, Henry Wakim and Eva Haddad.
