She is survived by: her sisters, Carmen Torres and Lydia Martinez; her stepsiblings, Angie Monroy, Charlie Castillo and Rudy Castillo; her daughters, Marie Garcia (Mario) and Francesca Peterson; and her grandchildren, Amy Peterson, Gary Peterson (Jessica) and Katrina Riggs (Andrew).
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Nazareth House.
