He was predeceased by: his sons, Arthur O. Koontz and Ronald Roth. He is survived by: his spouse Pat Richardson; his children, Merrit Daniel Koontz of Bullhead, AZ, Arnold Koontz (Debbie) of Port Huron, MI and M. "Andy" Koontz of Fresno, CA; his grandchildren, Dearld Roth (Devin), Jaysen Koontz, Michael Koontz, Andrew S. Koontz, Rueben Rodrigues, Annette Churchill (Paul), Andrea Koontz, Elise Rivera (Angel), Donyale Gladue (Art), Christy Koontz and Amber Koontz; and his close friend Dessie Musacchio. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, many special nieces and nephews.
