She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Eddie Freeman and Dessie Mae White; her brother Frank Freeman; and her great grandchild Adaleigh Grace Bess. She is survived by: her siblings, Charles Freeman and Lois Freeman; and her children, Bronda Freeman, Kevin Bess, Tynetta Shabazz, Henry Markeese Bess, Frank Bess and Sheri Bess. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
