He was predeceased by: his sons, Martin Ortiz Jr., David Ortiz and Xavier Ortiz. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Ortiz; and his children, Stella Pena and Doris Zavala. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
