He is also survived by 85 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

“Our father, Gilbert, was very close with Louie and he would often come to Salinas to visit. I can honestly say I can't remember a time that he was at a loss for words. He was so amusing and could tell a good story of the old days. We are going to miss having you in our lives, you have always been there. Rest in Peace Uncle Louie. “Oh my gosh, we are so sad to hear of Uncle Louie's passing. Our hearts go out to you Darla and Uncle Louie's whole family. Words cannot express our sorrow for your loss.
