He was predeceased by: his parents, James Chance and Edith Edwards; and his son David Rothell. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Chance; and his children, Steven Chance, Debra Chance, Lajeana Gilfillan and Sherry Domingos. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great great grandchildren.
