With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Jeanette Ward (Fresno, California), born in Pomona, California, who passed away on March 5, 2020 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Eugene Burton. She is survived by: her mother Jeanette Burton; her brother Robert Burton; and her children, Kari Christopherson (Robb), Matthew Ward (Aimee), Jeremy Ward (Jennifer), Kristen Reid (Doug) and Kelly Hernandez (Julio). She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

In 2018, Karen was officially diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, though she had been struggling with her health for a number of years.
