Mendez of Fresno, California, born in Robstown, Texas, who passed away on December 15, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ignacio Mendez and Felipa Mendez; his children, Joe Mendez, Janie Mendez, Phyllis Mendez, Carolina Schaaf and Mary Calderon; and his wife Tibursia Mendez. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren.
