He was predeceased by: his parents, Alejandro DeLeon and Cornelia DeLeon (Mendoza); and his brother Renato DeLeon. He is survived by: his wife Annie Banagan DeLeon; his children, Joe Anthony DeLeon (Theresa) of Canada and Janmary Mandar (Angelo) of Pittsburgh; and his siblings, Rolando DeLeon (Elvie), Marion Estrada (Thomas), Jhonelito DeLeon (Fely), Fernando DeLeon (Imee), Ariel DeLeon (Malon), Bernardo DeLeon (Edith) and Wilson DeLeon (Theresa). He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren.
