He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Steele and Richard Steele; and his siblings, Charles "Chuck" Steele, William "Bill" Steele, Richard "Dick" Steele, Geraldine Bombaci and Cecilia Goldthorpe.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Nathan, Daniel (Lea), Blaine (Carolyn), Elizabeth (Greg) and Sara (Christopher); his grandchildren, Jack, Caeden, Rylie, Colton, Ben, Declan and Madison; and his sisters, Rosemary Rodden, Jeannie Martino, Phyllis Steele and Therese Ann Bakula. He is also survived by his grandchildren (and sons in law.
