He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio and Faustina Candida Labandeira (Maria T. Labandeira); and his siblings, Antonio Labendeira (Rose), John Labandeira (Conceicao), Francisco Labandeira, Faustina Trovao, Eugenia Rodrigues, Maria Parreira and Carminha Rebelo.
He is survived by: his daughters, Maria Macedo (Joe), Fatima Berlak (Gary) and Avelena Labrie (Michael); and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Cole (Neil) and David Macedo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society and the Alzheimer's Association.
