She was predeceased by: her parents, Reginaldo Villegas and Julia Villegas; her husband Manuel Suniga; her son Joey Robert Ruiz; her sister Dora Williams; and her grandson Johnny Ruiz III.
She is survived by: her sister Suzanne Patla; and her children, Raymond Ruiz, Veronica Perez, Brenda Kozakowski and Linda Smith. She is also survived by her 17 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home (836 E Nees Ave, Fresno, CA 93720). A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (2140 N Cedar Ave, Fresno, CA 93703).
