He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Yesnig Sarafian and Akaby Sarafian; his wife Barbara Kevork; his daughters, Pam Cassidy (Jim) and Jackie Sarafian (Steve Herz); his grandchildren, Thomas McLean and Stephanie Cassidy; his sister-in-law Ann Sarafian; and his nieces, Lynne Surmeian and Nancy Krikorian.
