She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Iwakichi Haratani and Tei Haratani; her husband Peter Yamamoto; her daughter Cyndi Fletcher (Rick); and her siblings, James, Tom, Joe and Mary.
She is survived by: her siblings, Grace Aikawa of Oakland and David Haratani of El Cerrito; her children, Mike Yamamoto (Gail) of Fresno, Gregg Yamamoto (Kathy) of Fresno and Julie Chan (Mark) of Elk Grove; and her grandchildren, Lauren Hou (Eric), Kristy Fletcher, Brandon Yamamoto, Scott Yamamoto, Jacob Yamamoto and Megan Yamamoto.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or The Audubon Society.
