She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hart and Bessie Hart (Branson); her siblings, Beulah, Kenneth and Lawrence (Charles); and her nephews, Monty and James.

She is survived by: her husband Charles Montanye; her sons, Monty and James; her daughters-in-law, Helen and Genie McAlexander (Chuck); her nephew Leland House (Sherry); her niece Susan Phillips (Dale); and her children, Jason, Ian (Missy) and Molly (Jeff). She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
