He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Berg and Evelyn Berg; and his spouse Shirley L. Berg. He is survived by: his daughters, Heidi Berg and Susan Berg-Flores (Wayne Flores); his granddaughters, Kadee Gomez, Hallie, Tayler and Bergin Flores; and his great grandchildren, Jocelynn and Jonathan.
