He is survived by: his children, Marcus Matthews (Christina) and Jennifer Cawelti (Jason); his siblings, Frank Matthews, Mike Matthews and Julie Kamana; his grandchildren, Clara Ryan Cawelti and Harrison Nathaniel Cawelti; and his stepgrandchildren, Jeffrey Corgiat Cawelti and Sofia Corgiat Cawelti.
