He was predeceased by: his parents, Delfio Cristando and Lena Cristando; his wife Virginia Cristando; his son Frank J. Cristando, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Merrell Cristando; and his great grandchild Gracie Rae Calandra.

He is survived by: his children, Ronald J. Cristando of Cambria and Linda M. Calandra (Dave) of Fresno; his daughter-in-law Anita F. Cristando of Margate; his friend Ann Wiens of Reedley; his siblings, John J. Cristando and Sophie T. Salvo of Fresno; and his grandchildren, Catherine Dunlap (Aron) of Fresno, Steven R. Calandra (Tanya) of Oahu, Hawaii, Joseph D. Cristando (Allison) of Granite Bay, CA, John R. Cristando (Camilla) of New York City, Aron Cristando (Yvette) of Coral Springs, FL and Jacob Gowdy of Mariposa, CA.. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
