She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur McAlpine; her parents, Peter Farny and Velma Farny; and her siblings, Robert Farny (Ellis) and Barbara Severance (Bob).

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Tommy, Ken and Joy.

“Frances and arthur were our pastoral team at cumberland presbyterian church in fresno. My sisters and i have such wonderful memories of frances, and i was a team helper in planning events at church with arthur. Arthur performed our wedding ceremony in 1976. They were both loved by my grandmother mary and all of us. Rest in peace frances, we were blessed to have had you in our lives. You were a gracious, lovely lady.
