It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Esther Bissell (Fresno, California), who passed away on November 25, 2020, at the age of 106, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Knute Lauritzen and Jennie Lauritzen (Zamaroni); her husband Frederick Bissell; her son Gaylaird Bissell; and her siblings, Isolina Jensen, Anna Johannson, Johnnie Lauritzen and Ernest Lauritzen.
She is survived by: her brother George Lauritzen; her children, Bruce Bissell (Sue) and Bernadette Ramsey; and her grandchildren, Amy Hess, Kathryn Dresick (John), Stephen Bissell (Peg), Brad Bissell (Sally), Justin Ramsey (Cheryl) and Arrin Ramsey (Tammy). She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
Due to the pandemic, a private service will be held at Fresno Memorial Gardens.
In Liew of flowers, remembrances may be made towards a charity of their choice.
