She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Elmer Nielsen and Agnes Nielsen; her husband Darel Mehrten; and her daughters, Kristi Carlton (Tim Shields) and Lynette Hecker (Doug Hecker). She was also cherished by four grandchildren, and countless friends and family.
