He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Phillip and Martha Alvarez; his aunt Fran Herndon; his father Charles Chuck Franklin Sanders Sr.; his aunts, Shelia Alvarez and Dorothy Carrillo; his grandmother Delores Borland; and his aunt Jean Sanders.
He is survived by: his close friend Yolanda Varela; his nieces, Hillarie, Sasha and Aereil Sanders; his great-nieces, Evie and Valentina; his nephew Eli; his aunt Donna; and his cousins, Terri, Stephanie, David and Julie. He is also survived by stepfather, stepbrother and stepsisters.
