In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Arthur Iwao leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Arthur Iwao may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Takamatsu Yamaguchi and Mikiyo Minami Yamaguchi; his wife Darlene Yamaguchi; and his siblings, Takaichi Yamaguchi, Tsuyoshi Yamaguchi, Mitsuru Yamaguchi, Shizuye Uyemoto, Clara Kumamoto, Baby Chiyeko Yamaguchi and Ann Yamaguchi-Rumbaugh.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dana Nakagawa and Stacie Yamaguchi (Minh Nguyen); and his granddaughter Megan Nakagawa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Fresno Buddhist Temple (2690 E Alluvial Ave, Fresno, CA 93720).
